The thick-lipped Partula

Partula crassilabris

This species was restricted to a small part of Raiatea island. It was well known to Andrew Garrett in the 1860s and to Henry Crampton in 1909 but was not collected again. It probably became extinct shortly after Euglandian arrived on the siland in the late 1980s.
