The white Partula

Partula hyalina

The white Partula is one of the most successful Partula species. It was originally found on Tahiti but has been introduced to the Cook and Austral islands where populations remain secure. On Tahiti it has disappeared from most areas, along with all other Partula. Some small populations do still survive. It is one of the few species that is mainly found at low altitudes.
