Western Indian Ocean research
The Western Indian Ocean islands are rich in biodiversity and have a highly complex geological history. As a result they are of great conservation significance and offer unique insights into evolutionary processes. A Yahoo group has been formed to facilitate collaboration on biogeographical research in the region through sharing of ideas, initiatives and experiences. Anyone active in research on the islands of the Western Indian Ocean are invited to joint the group. Members of this group are asked to upload a list of their relevant publications, ongoing research and research interests.
